 Ralph began his career with DSN in July of 1994 as a Youth Care Specialist working in two of DSN's first three Residential facilities. While working within these facilities, Ralph discovered the importance of what his job actually entailed and how big of an impact one person can make upon another. In January of 1996, while continuing his career with DSN, Ralph purchased a business of his own called Lincoln Gym. As the owner/operator of his own business and an employee of DSN, Ralph felt that both positions fell in line with his passion of supporting people in reaching their goals. After spending approximately eight years working in the Residential portion of DSN's genre of services, Ralph transferred to Labor Solutions, DSN's Vocational Program. There he supported individuals in reaching their potential and achieving their goals in the area of job skills and employment. In June of 2004, Ralph became the Vocational Coordinator of Labor Solutions in Omaha where he enjoyed being part of a great team who continued the focus of supporting individuals in their efforts of growth while helping to establish the Vocational Program and expand. In October of 2005, Ralph accepted the position of Area Program Director and has enjoyed working with a wonderful Administrative team to ensure that DSN is providing the best possible services available and continuously searching for better ways to help individuals reach their goals. During Ralph's time with DSN he feels that he has been very fortunate in meeting some amazing people who are very passionate about what they do and who they do it for. He looks forward to the continued growth of DSN, it's services, and the people it supports. |
