Supporting People With Brain Injuries
Under a grant from Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation, DSN is developing best practice models to support persons with developmental disabilities and brain injury. During the first year of the grant DSN focused on learning about and understanding brain injuries and specific support needs of the people receiving services at DSN.  In the second year emphasis shifts more to employment opportunities and goals. As is true for many people, when home life is good we are able to focus on work life.
